Lia Simonds (she/her)

Clinician, LICSW, MEd, RYT Certified Yoga Instructor

Lia is a licensed clinical social worker with a background in community mental health & early childhood education. As a trauma-sensitive clinician and certified yoga instructor, Lia uses the therapeutic relationship to facilitate clients’ healing connection with self, others, and the natural world.

She provides individual, family, and group therapy to clients of all ages. Lia’s approach is holistic, person-centered, and playful. She draws from training and experience in: Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based and somatic therapies, Attachment-based therapy, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused therapy, grief processing, Cognitive Restructuring, and Structural Family Therapy.

Lia enjoys being in nature, writing, learning new things, and playing with her cat, Rumi.
